The room was spacious, but the noise from the event was unbearable.

The wet room layout felt cramped and wasn't to my liking. Evening events created substantial noise, disrupting sleep, especially on the second night. The pre-authorization policy wasn’t clearly communicated, which was a bit frustrating. Housekeeping interruptions despite a 'do not disturb' request felt intrusive and could enhance privacy policies.

Not exactly what I expected
A bit of a mixed bag, let me tell you. The main room was quite nice, I was upgraded to a lovely Club Double, so that was a highlight. The bathroom was spotless and modern!
But honestly, it wasn't exactly affordable for what we got.

we enjoyed our stay at number 10. it’s in a lovely, quiet location with easy car parking right outside. the bed was large and comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. we also had a fun quiz night at the bar, adding to the atmosphere. plus, the spacious grounds were a nice touch!

The outdoor seating area was a delightful place to relax.
The shower pressure was disappointingly low, like a light drizzle.

Amazing stay with the fam!
We stayed in a fabulous suite, super spacious and clean! My son loved the hot Scottish breakfast. it was delish! Staff were super helpful, genuinely friendly, making our stay even nicer. Just wish the check-in process was a bit quicker. that was a bit of a wait. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for family stays!

The cancellation policy was disappointing.

Charming Atmosphere with Some Hiccups
My recent stay included a delightful breakfast spread served in a bright conservatory. I loved the spacious room with old-world charm. check-in was chaotic due to a wedding function. Pro tip, consider scheduling your stay when events are fewer to enjoy a quieter experience.

The hotel beautifully blends contemporary design with charming Victorian features, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming, especially for us seniors who appreciate comfort. The staff's warm attitude really made every corner feel accessible.
Additional seating in common areas would be beneficial.

The seafood at nearby Hooked Fish & Chips is a must-try! the breakfast staff were absolutely lovely, making our mornings shine with their warmth. Plus, the hotel's beer garden is a cracking spot to relax!
Now, the beds could’ve been comfier. definitely not the high point but still better than many other places in town.

Recommend it for families looking for a cozy getaway
The staff really made us feel welcome, especially during breakfast, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room we had was spacious and clean, I mean it was like staying in a small apartment, very comfortable for our family with kids.
It wasn’t cheap but still reasonable for the quality we got.
